About Us

Primepak Foods is a 34 year old family business which is now part of the Kiril Mischeff group. We are a chilled food manufacturer and processor based in Driffield, East Yorkshire. We process and manufacture cheese, cooked meats, and sandwich fillers for both retail, delicatessen and food services. We can offer direct to store delivery along with national delivery service. All products arrive on our own fleet of refrigerated vehicles

Our History

1992

David and Gill Johnson acquire Primepak Foods

1995

Primepak Foods is moved to purpose built factory at Kelleythorpe Industrial Estate

1997

The fleet expands

1998

One packing line turns into three

2006

New offices and team facilities are built

2007

Start producing small range of sandwich fillers.

2009

Start producing full range of salad and sandwich fillers

2013

Three new state of the art factories are built

2014

New sandwich filler line added

2015

New grated cheese line added

2016

All products rebranded to Wolds Edge

2017

Stopped processing bacon

2018

Adjacent land purchased to the East

2019

Additional adjacent land to the East purchased

2021

New cooked meat factory starts being built on the East land acquisitions

2022

Spring 2022, the new meat processing factory opens with a little help towards the project from……..
